Fourth of July

What a wonderful spirit in worship we had yesterday as we celebrated God's blessings upon our nation and expressed thanks to the men and women who have served our country so well.  The patriotic medley that Jim and the choir led us in was truly inspiring.  The hymns reminded us once again of our call to pray and give thanks for our many freedoms.  The number of men and women who stood as we recognized the various branches of armed services was testimony to the dedication of this congregation to both God and land.  Thank you to all who joined us in giving thanks for our wonderful country.
