Our Emmaus program is a 3-day spiritual retreat offered for both adults and senior high youth.
The Emmaus Walk The Walk to Emmaus is a 3-day spiritual retreat for adults which centered around themes from Luke 24:13-25. During this weekend retreat, usually held from Thursday evening through Sunday afternoon, pilgrims hear a variety of talks and participate in small-group discussions focusing on various aspects of Christian living. The Walk includes presentation, worship, small-group sharing, and a host of other "surprises." To attend the Walk one must be sponsored by one who has previously attended the retreat. If you do not know someone who has already attended, please contact our church office and we can arrange for a sponsor.
Chrysalis Chrysalis is the youth version of the Emmaus Walk. Though it is very similar in structure to the adult retreat, the presentations and content are specifically relevant for a high school-age student. This retreat is usually held from Wednesday evening to Saturday afternoon in various churches. As with the adult program, participants must have a sponsor and if you do not know a Chrysalis graduate the church will assist you in finding a sponsor.
Reunion Groups Reunion Groups are "post-retreat" pray and sharing groups that provide support and encouragement for those who are striving to incorporate the spiritual practices learned during the retreat. If you have attended a Chrysalis or Emmaus Walk and desire to be a part of a Reunion Group, the church will assist you in finding a group that is suitable for you.
Gatherings Gatherings involve a time of worship, fellowship, and testimony for those who have attended either the Emmaus or Chrysalis retreat. Gatherings are usually held quarterly in various churches throughout the greater Tulsa area. Information regarding upcoming Gatherings is usually posted on our Events Page.
