The counters are back! We are slowly bringing things back. It is so great to hear the church building come alive again! The sound of the adding machines and the voices of our volunteers filling the building has been such a joy!

During this time of COVID-19 "shelter at home," so many have missed the fellowship of our church and the opportunity to express love for each other. So, our membership committee has decided to keep this message alive (at least in a small way) by visiting the homes of our members with this message, "We love you! Your family at Sapulpa First United Methodist." Hopefully, we will be able to be together again soon so we can share these words face to face.
Be Safe and Be Blessed, Pastor Allen Congratulations to Ann Cornelius on the publication of her new book, Another Fine Mess: A Laurel and Harting Mystery. She recently shared in a time of reflections and book signing at the Sapulpa library. We anticipate there may also be additional events like this in the Sapulpa community. Way to go Ann!
The church always looks amazing dressed in it's Advent decor. This year even some of the Sunday School classes joined in the Hanging of the Greens. Above is a display recently set up in the Passages Class room. During this seasons, please take some time to view the decorations found throughout our church.
I received an email from Michelle the other day. She was writing to say hello to her friends at Sapulpa First UMC. You will recall that Michelle was our administrative assistant for two years before moving to New York to work for a magazine. Well, I was blown away when she told me that she is now residing in Vietnam and teaching English as a second language to pre-school and Kindergarten children. Wow, what a life change; but she sounds incredibly happy. Keep her in your prayers as she continues in her journey of service. She is a special young lady and I am so glad to hear that she is doing well.
In Christ, Pastor Allen |
