Note From The Office...
We are hoping to keep these scheduled events, but will adjust them as needed. Currently we are looking to postpone these events until we can meet again in person. We will update everyone as soon as we are in the clear to do so. Thank you for your patience and understanding during this time.

Tentatively Scheduled Events...
We are getting ready for the rummage sale. On Sunday, April 19th there will be UMW volunteers to accept any item you want to bring for the sale. We do not have the means or manpower to pick up your items. PLEASE, have your items here by Thursday afternoon. When we arrive at church on Friday morning, we will have a group waiting to get in and will not have time to sort through item and price them and get them on the tables. And as always, we cannot take older TV’s. We have to pay to have them recycled.
At our Unit meeting we were blessed with our own April Sellers White talking about getting out of prison and getting back into society. She spoke about Exodus House. On UMW Sunday our speaker, Stacy Ninness from NSO, was unable to attend. We will have her back at another time when the world settles down. She sent a video and Ann did a wonderful job filling in. Cheryl Cox did a great job of leading the readings and reading the scripture. Carolyn Nicholson gave a report on the work and donations given by the church for Martha’s house years ago. What a blessing our church family is. Kay Arbenz presented the UMW Recognitions pins to Ann Cornelius and to Phyllis Lowe. Phyllis was not in church on UMW Sunday so we are holding her pin hostage until we see her!
Our UMW luncheon will be held on June 27th this year. Every woman in the church is invited. We have so much fun. This year we are going to put together hygiene kits to deliver to the Sapulpa School system. There are approximately 80 children in the schools that do not have permanent homes. So we are asking you to pick up some items for the kits. There will be lists in the Narthex and downstairs to put the items. If we make to have extra stuff we will find a use for it. Some of the items needed are: Travel Size Deodorant (female and male), Soap, Tissues (small purse/pocket size) dental floss, tooth brush, toothpaste, wash cloth, feminine pads, comb.
The United Methodist Women have a wonderful Unit at this church. In that Unit are 2 Circles. The Joy Circle meets the 1st Thursday of the month at 6:00 pm in the Parlor. The Esther Circle meets on the 2nd Thursday of the month at 9:30 am in the Parlor. We invite you to come to either or both Circles. The upcoming rummages sale is a wonderful way to get to know the congregation. Stop by and help or just visit!
